I've logged into Weedy's home grid...

I may be a tourist on a few Grids...

OS Grid.. I plan to set up residence in though stay (meantime) on the LL grid too.

Yeah I plan to also maintain my interests on LL's grid too - though perhaps not to the extent I have in teh past.

My role with testing/promoting/operating OpenSim and OSGrid has soaked a lot of my time. I am having a freaking BLAST though :D

When there comes the change to "host your own" I think the world will be adifferent place indeed. I *LOVE* the idea of a "temporary sim" that I can fire up attached to the main grid. Being able to have a demo place, etc. And being able to take that sim offline to a private grid, so I can play in SL without logging on.

That's when copybot technology is REALLY going to be cool. The ability to "save" a build from one grid, and rebuild it prim for prim and texture for texture, on the main grid.

The economy will be VERY different then. I'm not sure people will quibble so much about "OMG U STOLE MY EMAIL BUTTON IMAGE".. it's 1992 all over again.

Does running a single region stand-alone count? :)

Well, you won't get much info *from* me, but I'd love to talk about this stuff here. I read about the "RealXtend" stuff over at OpenLifeGrid Blogs - Python scripting here we come! :)

I voted no, as I just haven't gotten around to it.

I am in the same situation as M. Pangs, although Herr Excalibur Longstaff (editor of the Caledon Forums) is quite actively pursuing alternative griddery.
