I thought they had already left the nest and were flying free. I guess they're never really all growed up, are they?

Well...I've got my outdoor areas pretty much in order now so how about I whip you all up a nice rack of lamb on the grill? :munch:

Unfortunately, in the process of tackling the outdoors, I left my laptop out in the rain.

I was blessed to catch a performance by Canadian singer and composer Buffy Ste Marie backed by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra last night (and it was free - gawd, I love Detroit summer festivals!

) Her "Until It's Time for You to Go" has been recorded by many, most notably Elvis, and "Up where We Belong" won her an oscar as performed by Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes.

Universal Soldier is as timely today as when it was first written...
